About the role

Whitehills Care is a registered nurse-led home care provider. As a Healthcare Support Worker you will deliver person-centred care to people in their own homes across Surrey, helping them keep their independence and the quality of their daily life.

The work is hands-on personal care, support with medication, companionship, and care records you complete on your phone as you go. You will follow a care plan written for that person, and a registered nurse holds clinical oversight of it, so you are never left carrying a clinical decision on your own.

We pay 12.82 to 13.82 pounds an hour depending on experience. You will be trained to the Care Certificate, supervised regularly, and supported to go further if that is what you want.

Professionalism
- Reliability and punctuality, because the person you are visiting is waiting for you
- A calm manner that holds up when a visit does not go to plan
- Clear, respectful communication with families, colleagues and other professionals
- Cultural sensitivity, and an inclusive approach to everyone you meet

Accountability
