About you

We recruit against the four values our care is built on.

Compassion
- Genuine concern for other people, and the patience that goes with it
- Understanding towards someone who may be vulnerable, frightened or in pain
- Respect for the dignity and individuality of every person, without judgement

Professionalism

- A calm manner that holds up when a day does not go to plan
- Clear, respectful communication with families, colleagues and other professionals
- Cultural sensitivity, and an inclusive approach to everyone you meet

Accountability
- Accurate records, written at the time rather than from memory later

- Working within your competence, and asking when you are not sure

Excellence
- Previous experience of live-in or residential care
- The physical capability to carry out care tasks safely
- A willingness to learn, and to be supervised while you do

If you recognise yourself in the values above, we would like to hear from you.

Availability
- A willingness to work at least one to two weeks per placement, with the flexibility to fit the needs of the person you are supporting.
